Pentora Capital is a student-led mini-enterprise organised like a holding company, bringing together focused branches under one thoughtful, neutral structure. We coordinate ideas, people and projects while developing our skills by building a company.
Mini-Entreprises – JEL
The so-called Mini-Entreprises are a project from Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg (JEL). It focuses on teaching the students business-skills, by guiding them through their own Entreprise in a Sandbox environment.
Our origins
Pentora capital was created by five motivated students from LCE with already existing experience in the business world, from other mini-entreprises, EduStart-Ups and general life experiences.
Our goals
Pentora capital is the first holding-style mini-entreprise to ever exist, although this controversial choice of business comes with benefits:
Rapid developpement
We’re developing in a lot of directions simultaneously. This isn’t only a lot faster, it also means that we can work on a lot of things, and will never be “stuck”.
Fail-safe included
Contrary to traditional mini-entreprises, having a holding-company means that a failed product doesn’t mean a failed mini-entreprise, just a failed branch.
More areas with expertise
With only one area of developpement, the expertise in that area is limited. When having multiple areas, every member can show his expertise in their area.
